ATTENTION OESC MEMBERS: The OESC Negotiations Team’s for all bargaining units have been working on the latest County Proposal (attached) since early this year. After this weeks question and answer session, the Negotiations Teams are recommending the proposal go to the membership for a vote. All things considered, we do not feel we will be able to achieve a better proposal at this time. Having the end of open enrollment looming near, we want to allow time for members to still make changes based on the proposal, if they need to. End of open enrollment is Friday, October 11, 2013. The vote on the proposal will be on Wednesday, October 9th, 2013 from 4:30 P.M. until 7:30 PMAT THE RED OAK ROOM, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH BUILDING, 2060 CAMPUS DRIVE. YREKA. We are working on a second votong location in Yreka and will advise if it is available. Thanks

This is a vote to accept or reject the proposal dated 9/19/2013. Please review the proposals specific to your bargaining unit. There will not be a group discussion regarding this proposal at the polling location(s). South County and Tulelake employees will be allowed to vote at a specified location with OESC Representatives present.
